Once there were three little pigs who lived with their mom. The time had come for them to build their own homes. Practical Pig wore blue overalls and had smart glasses. Creative Pig had a green smock with paint spots. Playful Pig wore red straps and loved to sing. "Be safe, my dears," said Mom Pig. "Build strong homes. A big wolf lives in these woods!" The three pigs came to a spot where the path split three ways. "We need to pick where to build," said Practical Pig. To the left was a brick shop. To the right was an art shop. Straight ahead was a music shop.

The three little pigs walked to the brick shop. Practical Pig led the way, his tool belt jingling. "Bricks are strong and safe," said Practical Pig. "The wolf can't blow them down!" In the shop, they saw stacks of red bricks. The shop owner, a wise old beaver, smiled at them. "Building homes, are you?" asked the beaver. "I have two types of bricks. The red ones are regular. The golden ones are magic - they make music when tapped!" Creative Pig's eyes lit up at the golden bricks. "We could make art with those!" Playful Pig jumped with joy. "And music too!" Practical Pig looked at their coins. They could only buy one type of brick.

"We should get the red bricks," said Practical Pig. "They are strong and safe." They bought many red bricks and carried them to a nice flat spot to build. Practical Pig took out his tools. "Let's build together!" Creative Pig looked at the plain red bricks. "Can we paint them?" Playful Pig tapped the bricks. "They don't make music, but we can sing while we work!" As they started to build, they heard a howl in the woods. "Quick!" said Practical Pig. "The wolf is out there!" The pigs had to decide how to build their house.

The three little pigs worked fast to build three small houses in a row. Practical Pig used his tools to lay the bricks just right. "Each house needs a strong base!" Creative Pig added pretty patterns to the walls. "Now they look special!" Playful Pig sang happy songs while they worked. "La la la! Building is fun!" The houses grew brick by brick. Each pig had their own space, but they were close together. The howling got louder. The wolf was getting near! "Hurry!" said Practical Pig. "We need doors and windows!" They could hear big footsteps coming closer through the woods.

The pigs quickly put wooden doors and windows in their houses. "These will have to do," said Practical Pig, fitting the last door in place. Just then, a tall gray wolf stepped out of the woods. He wore a crooked bow tie and had a big grin. "Well, well," said the wolf. "What do we have here? Three little piggies in their brick houses!" The pigs ran inside their homes and locked their doors. The wolf walked up to the first house, where Playful Pig was hiding. "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" called the wolf. "Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!" said Playful Pig, shaking a bit. "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down!" growled the wolf. The wolf took a deep breath. The wooden door rattled. The windows shook.

Playful Pig saw his door starting to crack. "Oh no!" he squeaked. He ran to the back door and zipped over to Creative Pig's house. Creative Pig let him in fast! "Ha!" said the wolf. "One empty house! Now for the next one!" He walked up to Creative Pig's house, where both pigs now hid. The walls were painted with bright flowers and stars. The wolf almost had to put on sunglasses! "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" he called again. "Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" they said together. "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow this house down too!" The wolf took an even bigger breath. The painted walls began to shake.

Creative Pig and Playful Pig ran as fast as they could through the back door. They made it to Practical Pig's house just in time! Practical Pig quickly let them in. "Quick! Help me push this big chest against the door!" All three pigs worked together to make the house extra strong. They pushed furniture against the doors and windows. The wolf came stomping up to the last house. He was puffing from all his huffing! "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" he wheezed. "Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!" all three pigs shouted. "Then I'll huff... and I'll puff... and I'll blow this house DOWN!" The wolf took the biggest breath ever. His cheeks got big. His bow tie spun around. He huffed and he puffed with all his might! But the brick house didn't move at all. Not even a tiny bit. The wolf tried again. And again. His face turned red from trying so hard. "We need to think of a way to make him stop," whispered Practical Pig. "He won't give up easily."

The three little pigs looked at each other and smiled. They had an idea! "Hey, Mr. Wolf!" called Playful Pig. "Would you like to come in for lunch instead?" The wolf stopped huffing and puffing. "Lunch?" "Yes!" said Creative Pig. "We make the best carrot soup!" "And fresh bread!" added Practical Pig. The wolf's tummy rumbled. All that huffing and puffing had made him hungry. "Well..." said the wolf, fixing his crooked bow tie. "That does sound better than blowing houses down." The pigs opened their door. The wolf came in, and they all sat down for a nice lunch. "You know," said the wolf, sipping his soup, "this is much nicer than my old tricks. Would you like to be neighbors?" "Yes!" said the pigs. "But no more huffing and puffing!" The wolf laughed. "Deal!" From that day on, the three little pigs lived happily in their brick houses. The wolf lived next door, and they all had lunch together every Sunday. Sometimes, you could hear them singing songs, painting pictures, and building things together. And not once did anyone huff or puff again! The End.
